By joining Friends of GalaxyArt, you will receive periodic updates of our exhibitions and events.  You will also enjoy priority registration for our workshops and other news about GalaxyArt.

We will provide arts news to include what’s happening in the arts & cultural community in Macao, with a Kids’ Corner to entertain children in sharing with them tidbits about the arts world…

Periodically, a GalaxyArt Newsletter will be distributed to share with everyone what’s happening in GalaxyArt, including our latest exhibition, workshops and other extended programs, snapshots of our opening events and behind the scenes, as well as important announcements. Information contained in the Newsletter is meant for all ages, but we will have sections that are dedicated to your young friends, introducing them to arts & culture with age-appropriate comments.

Traineeship and Internship

Traineeship and Internship

Managed by the Galaxy Entertainment Group Foundation, GalaxyArt will be the key platform to support the Foundation’s expanding initiatives in arts and culture, and which offers a pleasant and intellectually engaging work environment.  

Key responsibilities

Trainees and interns will learn to be a welcoming, inclusive, and professional representative of GalaxyArt and our docent community.  These young people will learn to become skilled and knowledgeable guides for a variety of daily visitors, leading tours and helping with the delivery of extended programmes such as educational workshops, talks and demonstrations.  They will also have the opportunity to learn how to support our team at GalaxyArt on our continuing series of exhibitions and associated programmes.

Trainees and interns will also learn to have:

  • An understanding of visual arts organisation and the charities sector;
  • An insight into the role arts and culture can play in the wellbeing of communities;
  • Professional public speaking and presentation skills;
  • Event planning and management skills; and
  • Arts administration skills.

Qualifications and Requirement

GalaxyArt is working with our partner universities in Macao to evolve this programme, to involve students or graduates, preferably those who major in Arts, Design, Events Management, Heritage Studies and related fields.
