In August 2018, the Foundation piloted the “GEG Japan-Macau Mentorship Scheme in Integrated Resort Management” in collaboration with Toyo University and Galaxy Entertainment Group, with the support of the University of Macau. Four undergraduate students, majoring in tourism-related studies from Toyo University, attended the Pilot Mentorship Scheme in Macau for four weeks, where they had the opportunity to learn from senior professionals from different departments of the Galaxy Entertainment Group. Participants attended mentorship sessions in the areas of managing corporate social responsibilities, food & beverage, hotels, retail, entertainment, resort services and human resources. Furthermore, faculty members of the University of Macau conducted classroom lectures in various topics in integrated resort management.
