GalaxyArt is a venue where residents from our communities and visitors will look forward to visit and gather, and to enjoy exhibitions and events throughout the year.
GalaxyArt is managed by the Galaxy Entertainment Group Foundation, as an extension to its GEG Arts & Culture Initiative, one of the many Foundation-Initiated Schemes it engages in since the Foundation’s founding in 2015.
At GalaxyArt, we believe that arts and culture have unlimited potential to deliver meaningful experiences to the visiting public, with periodic exhibitions that will be hosted throughout the year. The highlight of these exhibitions will be GEG presentations for the Special Exhibition of "Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2021," hosted under the patronage of the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture and the Secretariat for Economy and Finance of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, and organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Macao Government Tourism Office.
The objective of the Foundation’s Arts & Culture Initiative is to promote arts and culture in Macao, in line with the Government’s ongoing efforts to diversify tourism offerings for the city. Exhibitions will be curated for both locals and tourists alike, but with a particular focus on young people to expose them to and broaden their horizon in the arts.
“Grace Kelly: From Hollywood to Monaco – Artists’ Tributes” was the first ever large-scale arts and cultural event hosted by the Foundation and presented by the Galaxy Entertainment Group on its premises. The positive feedback confirms and encourages the Group and the Foundation to continue its efforts in promoting arts and culture in the community, with the vision of eventually extending this initiative beyond visual arts to include the performing arts, including collaboration with the various venues at Galaxy Macau™.
Located on The Promenade at Galaxy Macau™, the GalaxyArt is a non-profit space that will be hosting ongoing arts and cultural exhibitions throughout the year, enabling it to become one of the key platforms to support the GEG Arts & Cultural Initiative.
