GalaxyArt, the dedicated arts space managed and operated by the Foundation, will be launched on 20th July with its inaugural exhibition, “Juxtapose”, presented as a Special Exhibition of “Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2021”.  

Juxtapose is a homage to the rich history of Macao, with over four centuries of heritage, and is set to arouse collective memory and emotions, with “Stories of Steel” being narrated through larger-than-life steel rod sculptures. All the sculptures exhibited in Juxtapose depict Macau’s important architecture, icons, trades of the past and festivals, all that defines what Macau is today – juxtaposing east with west, new with old, traditional with modern, serious with humorous. 

The Foundation hopes the exhibition will not only interest visitors in Macau’s rich history, but also to promote, and have the public appreciate, the importance of heritage preservation.
