GalaxyArt welcomes young people to experience “art-integrated learning”

GalaxyArt, sharing the same goals as that of the Foundation, aims to nurture young people and broaden their horizon in the arts.

As an extended programme of the exhibition “Juxtapose”, two different themed workshops are being offered to children between the ages of 5-8, and 9-12.  The workshops are offered to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis.  For workshop details and registration, please visit GalaxyArt’s webpage.

Group visits are also welcome for schools.  “Art-integrated learning”, without textbooks, can be pivotal to the development of creativity.  Not only that, when art becomes the medium of teaching and learning, learning through arts helps students to understand concepts with “any” subject of the curriculum and to discover connections between ideas.  In view of this, the Foundation would like to play a role to support this mode of learning, where young members of our community can have a chance to develop diversified and creative thinking, and see the world in a new way – “through the arts” and “with the arts”.  For inquiries about school visits, please contact the Foundation at (853) 2822 8160.

The exhibition “Juxtapose” is open to the general public till October 31st, 2021, from 10AM to 10PM daily, at GalaxyArt.
